The Merced City's Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission (BPAC) continues to meet to discuss further measures to make bicycling, walking and other non-car transit safer within Merced's general transportation plan. The commission has recently been working to help alleviate various issues along current bike-routes including: signage, missing curb-cuts, addition of sharrows, and more. If you'd like to help; there are currently positions open! Applications can be filed at the city clerk's office on 18th street.
