Local Group Rides:
Most weeks you can find roadies lined up near Chevron at the corner of Yosemite and G in the Raley's Parking Lot. They'll do an out-n-back to Snelling or a loop out towards Planada and back. Both are quick, though often you'll find a "B" group that segments themselves (leaves a bit earlier too).
Also: rides will take place on Saturday mornings; times and ride routes vary depending upon weather etc. Don't be afraid to reach out and post on the group's board or email us! Facebook is also a great way to get in touch with local riders (there are MANY).
You can stay in touch by linking up with them on their Google-Group or hooking up via the Facebook group. There's also a pretty large riding group locally on Facebook called Tour de Friends that does a lot of rides of varying lengths and speeds; which is a fantastic place to start and develop as a road cyclist.
If you're a student at the UC you can also hook up with the UC Merced's Cycling Club!
